In this role, you will be directly responsible for providing pre-sales and technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. You will deliver key presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients and at tradeshows while executing on the positioning and selling of complex technical solutions. We are looking for individuals who are highly technical in nature but also have strong business acumen with effective communication stills. This role involves significant customer interaction as well as hands-on installation and customization of QD Technology's database software.
- Support the sales cycle by analyzing customer requirements and proposing the appropriate QD Technology solutions.
- Design, validate, and present QD software solutions including prototypes and proof of concept demonstrations of QD technology solutions.
- Perform Product Installations.
- Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
- Create and deliver demonstrations, scripts and presentations for use by QD Sales Reps and partners as well as WebEx and on-site demos to prospective clients.
- Analyze and document potential customers' requirements and position QD Technology solutions to address such requirements.
- Supports the completion of RFP and RFI requests from potential customers.
- Educate QD Sales Reps, clients, and partners through product and competitive training sessions.

| Qualifications: |
|
Candidate qualifications should include:
- Expertise in database (RDBMS) systems such as MS SQL Server, Oracle and Sybase.
- Prefer 5+ years of hands-on experience in at least two major RDBMS systems.
- Expertise in SQL.
- At least 3 years experience in software Pre-Sales (Sales Consulting).
- Expertise in Windows operating system.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills are crucial.
- Ability to make technical concepts appear clear and compelling.
- Willing to travel as necessary and required – This position may entail significant travel.
- BS Degree or equivalent advanced degree desirable.
- Experience with Reporting tools such as Crystal Reports and SAS is desirable.
- Experience in Business Intelligence and/or Data Warehousing is highly desirable.
- Financial Services industry and/or Healthcare industry experience is desirable.
- Ability to act independently and to be self-motivated.
